Here’s video of the Printr Bot Jr printing out the Torus Played One Game achievement reward 3D print.



The difference between the Shapeways.com printers and this sub $500 printer is pretty clear when you see the two side by side.



The reward Torus prints from Shapeways laser sintering remain the “real” rewards. I’ll be improving the models so the text is legible when using the FDM printing method.

An achievement 3D print is also unlocked for just completing your first game! When you have finished playing, the hi-score table view displays an ordering link for the score value you have reached.

The 3D print of the base hook players use in Torus to catch falling rings is a free download available now for home 3D printing. A 3D print can also be ordered for home delivery at the uplink.to shop on Shapeways. Shapeways handles the production, shipment and customer service for all Torus video game achievement 3D printed models. Each Torus ring is printed with a different Shapeways material reflecting its score value and color in the game.
